Hello Readers,

Welcome to my richroks.com blog! I’m excited to finally have this up and running and I hope to continually improve the look and feel of it as time goes on. I haven’t written a blog post since I was in my young teens, so this should be fun.

The primary purpose of this blog is to document memories and advice that I found valuable at the time of writing. Some of the topics will be personal and some will be professional. I’ve done a lot of growing the past few years and lately I’ve come across some valuable tidbits of knowledge that I don’t want to forget. Information pertaining to code, business strategy, leadership, etc. There have also been times where I’ve learned something from my own personal experimenting and I would like to record them here. So, whenever you pop in to check out what’s been added, you can expect a hodgepodge of advice and experiences that I found valuable.

It will also contain personal thoughts and opinions both personal and professional. I know that can be a dangerous thing to post nowadays but I plan to write them here as professionally as possible so that I can also learn how my mentality has changed over time. So, bear with me as I embark on this personal yet public journey. I’ve always thrived off learning about others and now I’m going to try and learn about myself.

With that said, if anything you read or see on this stirs you enough think or act, feel free to reach out to me! I openly welcome criticisms and compliments, along with agreements and disagreements. If you see any bugginess on the site, please let me know about it as well! I will continually be working on perfecting this site, so another pair of eyes always helps with that process.
